Set your running goal. Set up an online fundraising page and be motivated by raising money and awareness for the Mental Health Foundation. Raise $200 in the lead up to the event and receive a Mental Health Foundation running shirt to wear on the day.
Donations to the Mental Health Foundation go towards:
- Providing information to individuals, families, friends and whānau about where to turn for help and the ways to look after ourselves and others.
- Advocating on behalf of people with lived experience of mental illness for better access to services, a national commitment to upholding dignity and human rights, and equal participation in communities and employment.

"I am running to draw attention towards something important to me that is mental health and how it impacts so many people in our lives. Myself and many of you, will know people who have been affected by mental health. I’d like to share the message that it’s important to listen and be compassionate to those around you, you never know what they might be going through. And that it's okay to reach out to people and talk about anything that you might be going through." – Ben, fundraising for the MHF.
